SMF Flyer March 2010
Just finished this one today. If you live in Portland you’ll see it around town. Original concept by me, Noah did all the image photoshoppin’, and Tamara and I worked on the text layout.

This is the first draft for The eBike Store. I think I’m going to speed up the bike entering the frame.
Credits go to Andrew Kramer’s Videocopilot.net, an amazing resource for any aspiring motion graphics artist.
This is a spare time no budget promo made for Etsy.
This is the sunset over Chaco Canyon, New Mexico.
Wooden Ghost by EIC. Shot on a Sony HDR-FX1.
So this was made very quickly, as you can see the hawk is a little pixelated. But it should work fine for a pattern to cut fabric to. The blue bar was an accident, but I kind of liked it. Also, all three objects can be a seperate color, if we want to take a more colorful route.
This was filmed with my Panasonic Lumix GH1 using the kit lens (14mm – 140mm), and stopping down as low as I can go.
The lighting in the room was so dark. Just the one light at the end of the hallway and the light behind me. I was really surprised how well it came out after color corrections through Magic Bullet.

Two the pieces I worked on with Claudia Meza and Jain Paik for TBA:09 (which got pretty good reviews) are going to be played with a gaggle of other film makers at PNCA BFA gallery on Wednesday the 27th.
The pieces in particular are “I Hear Ringing in My Ears” which has some pretty cool animated vector diagrams by Dan Brusich, and “Tai Chi” where I got to play with some human stop motion.
Apparently Hoolaganship is going to be playing as well, which makes me drool.
